We talk about our dreams, we dream about our dreams. We plan, we prepare…and once we feel the timing is perfect or perhaps we are violently shoved, we take a deep breath and leap.
The day, no the exact moment, our dream actually begins arriving everything moves really fast and in slow motion all at the same time. I think anyone that has actually made a dream come true can attest to this fact. It’s surreal, like an out of body experience. You step outside of yourself and cheer, really loudly, “You can do this”!
One moment your life is the way it always has been, and then poof, your dream is actually happening. Your exhilarated, your liberated, your delirious, you’re scared as hell…then here comes “the morning after”.
The morning after you may find yourself on edge from lack of sleep, one million thoughts rushing through your mind, running different scenarios, replaying the day before…asking yourself “What have I done”? Or “Did I do the right thing”?
Know this…”There are far, far better things ahead than any we leave behind”. ~ C.S. Lewis
At least, that’s how I felt.
It’s worth the dream. I’m living it. You can too, all in just a moment’s notice.
